Hello Ladybirds and Butterflies,
I hope you all had a fun filled half term with lots of rest, as well as adventures! I was in school two days last week with the key worker children and we had lots of fun together. Whilst at home I was lucky enough to see some of my family whilst socially distancing as we went exploring Upton Heath together.
Can you believe that tomorrow is the start of Summer Term 2 and the beginning of June! It really is very different to how we all thought the summer term would be! However, we are all so proud of how resilient and adaptable you've been.
This week us teachers will be in school making changes to the classrooms, so that it will be safe for some more of you to return. We are very excited about seeing you and we cannot wait to hear about all of the fun and exciting projects you've been doing at home school.
This weeks learning is all about dreams. Dreams that you have in your sleep and aspirational dreams! Last night I watched the launch of the rocket Crew Dragon into space and it made me dream of being an astronaut! I look forward to hearing about your dreams and finding out what you dream of being when you grow up.
Take care & we'll hopefully see you soon!

Happy Half Term Ladybirds and Butterflies!
There is no home learning this week. Therefore I hope you have lots of fun, playing games with your family and finding new ways to entertain yourself. I've been going on big walks around the heath, exploring new places I've never been to before. I've enjoyed watching and listening to all of the birds and wildlife. I hope that you've all been enjoying the sunshine and continue to have lots of adventures with your families. I look forward to seeing your pictures on Tapestry.
Well done all of you for being so successful with your home learning during Summer Term 1. Soon we will be moving into Summer Term 2 and that too will be different to how we all thought school would look like. Some of you may be returning to school in small groups and some of you may continue with your fabulous learning at home. Whatever path you take, the Reception Team wish you the best of luck and will continue to be there for you via email and Tapestry. So please keep in touch!
We are so proud of everything you are achieving, how resilient you have become and all of the new skills you've learnt! Keep up the good work and keep smiling!
All our love
