Early Birds Breakfast Club
Early Bird Breakfast Club
Booking and Payment
Bookings must be made via the ParentMail booking system. Please note that children cannot be accepted at the club unless booking and payment has been made. No refunds can be given for absence.
An Early Bird Club registration form must be completed before any child can be accepted into the club. A separate form is needed for each child.
Club members are expected to behave sensibly and politely at all times in line with the schools established behaviour policy, a copy of which is available at the Early Bird Club. Where persistent issues of poor behaviour are evident parents and school staff will be spoken to in the first instance in an effort to remedy any problems. The Early Bird staff reserve the right to exclude children from the club if their behaviour is considered inappropriate or unsafe.
School staff are governed by very clear rules about child protection and should act within procedures established by the local Safeguarding Board. For more details please see the school brochure or visit the website.
The club opens at 7.30 am and children must not arrive before this time. The session ends at 8.30 am when children will be taken to their classroom. If your child is ill and unable to attend the club on a particular day, please phone the school office.
When dropping children off, please bring them into school via the main entrance. Children must be signed in by their parent/carer on the daily register before they can be left.
Food and Drink
Early Bird Club members will be offered toast and/or cereal and a fruit juice drink during the session. Please inform club leaders via the registration sheet of any allergies, dietary requirements or health issues of which they might need to be aware. If you do not wish your child to have a drink or snack, please inform the club leaders. Please note breakfast is only available until 8.15 am.
The Early Bird Club offers a variety of activities for the children including art and craft, reading, homework and more physical activities in the hall area.
