Merley First School celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III on Friday 5 May 2023. 

The sun shone as the children, dressed in red, white and blue with shining crowns, shared with families a performance of songs to remember this special Royal occasion. Thank you to everyone who supported our celebrations and stayed to enjoy cakes and drinks on the field after school. The children have made a commemorative Book with 'Messages for Our King' to remember this historic moment. It will be kept in the school Library for everyone to enjoy.
